The framing is made of MDF (middle dense fibre board) - a move pointing toward ecological friendliness*. Further ensuring durability as MD has a higher density than plywood. The bordering is low maintenance and resistant to swelling and warping.

*) Why can be MDF eco-friendly ? - MDF is highly durable and resists dents better than plywood. MDF is available in Fire Group 1, 2 and 3. Plywood is generally Group 3. MDF is environmentally friendly (Source: SupaWood.com.au ), - MDF is also a biodegradable material. It's still a sturdy, long-lasting building material, but – when exposed to the right conditions – it will decompose quickly without taking up lots of space in landfill (Source: Somerlappallet).
